Ealing offers a variety of Motorized Micropositioning systems for precise remote positioning, which includes MotorDriver and EncoderDriver systems. Micrometers on existing manual micropositioning stages can be replaced with either a MotorDriver actuator or an EncoderDriver actuator providing cost effective, motorized, sub-micrometer control of the stage. MotorDriver products are for simple open-loop operation of the DC motor while the EncoderDriver products provide computer controlled closed-loop operation of the DC motor along with a rotary encoder. They can be driven by an ultra-precise USB positioning systems with resolutions of less than one micron.
